工作职责:

Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

  • The key job role is to lead Innovation Appraisal and BKS program. This includes:
  • Responsible for product performance evaluation based on deep consumer and technical insight
  • Generate and support appealing claims based with robust methodology development
  • Responsible for Home Care Product Knowledge based selling (KBS) or science communication. Generate technology-based product story and demos to demonstrate product superiority.
  • Interaction in a multi-disciplinary business environment, providing a critical link between the business, particularly the R&D team, and external authorities

Main Accountabilities

Consumer Insight

  • Gain consumer insight for innovation project, margin improvement project. Identify consumer needs for product and package development
  • Understand market trends, needs and competitor moves.
  • Screen product prototypes through modelling, testing
  • Validate product options, gain consumer evidence for new product development

Claim

  • Develop novel methodologies or revises existing methods to support claims.
  • Generate attractive claims based on both consumer and technical insights
  • Translate claims into demonstrations that are consumer relevant and drive innovation understanding with consumer, customers, PR/Adv agencies.
  • Monitor competitor claim trend monitor
  • Lead claim workshop and claim roadmap

Appraisal

  • Support prototype screening via appraisal methods
  • Build appraisal capability
  • Independently plans and executes several short-term tasks in parallel.
  • Plans and executives technical and experimental tests with experts or monitor the test being done by other functions.
  • Evaluates and summarizes data independently.
  • Interprets unexpected results/observations and recommends next steps.
  • Monitor competitor formulation trend and summarize the data independently

Demo

  • Develop compelling demo to support innovation product
  • Lead demo committee to feed business needs.
  • Generate technical selling stories and present in a engaging way

Critical success Factors for the Job

Key Skills

  • Be creative.
  • Skilful on appraisal and chemical test
  • Be sensitive on claims and know how to avoid risk while not weaken claims too much.
  • Good bias for action, brings a sense of urgency to getting things done, focus on results, drives simplification for processRelevant Experience
  • Education ideally master's degree in chemistry, nutrition science, sensory science, biology science, any of the Physical Sciences.
  • 1-3 years' experience and substantial track record in a Category R&D function
  • Experience in claims / clinical- Project Management experience will be preferred
  • Basic understanding of legal marketing law and product regulations regionally or globally
