What You Will Do
Production Management
Oversee daily production planning and execution.
- Monitor the operational status of equipment, coordinate TPM for maintenance and anomaly handling to minimize downtime.
- Manage the daily maintenance and storage of tools,jigs etc., develop new tools and jigs.
Optimize production processes, propose efficiency improvement plans (, and coordinate internal and external resources for implementation, reducing material waste and production cost.
Combustion Manufacturing Process and Feasibility Management
Conduct early design reviews with the design team to analyze manufacturing feasibility and identify potential production issues.
- Review project drawings and manufacturing BOMs to define the scope of in-house production versus outsourced processing.
- Lead the process design for machining, welding, and assembly of burner products, and prepare related documentation (e.g., SOP, Work Instructions).
- Support NPI, RFQ.
Support technical clarifications with outsourced suppliers.
People Management
Lead a production team and production engineering team. Responsible for shift scheduling, task allocation, skills training, and performance evaluation.
- Plan capacity based on demand forecasts, develop staffing plans, and execute recruitment plans.
- Train and develop employees, continuously enhancing their skills and promoting multi-skill projects.
Encourage employees to propose innovative improvement suggestions and provide resources for the implementation of good suggestions.
Quality Control
Complete in-process self-inspection and record-keeping as per inspection plans.
- Lead root cause analysis and improvement of process non-conformities (NCR).
Collaborate with the quality department to implement ISO systems, improving process records and traceability mechanisms.
On-Site Management
5S and visual management of the production site.
- Coordinate cross-departmental resources (e.g., warehousing, planning, procurement) to ensure smooth material supply and production flow.
- Implement safety production standards, regularly organize safety training and on-site inspections to ensure a "zero-accident" goal.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma degree or above, preferably in Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Material engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- More than 8 years of experience in industrial or equipment manufacturing company, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
Machining (mill-turn operations, CNC programming, fixture design)
- Welding (familiar with TIG/MIG processes and ASME welding standards)
Assembly processes (for burners or other heavy machinery)
Skilled in using CAD/CAM software
- Strong in process data analysis and lean manufacturing tools.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Familiar with the sheet metal process will be a plus.
- Familiar with commonly used PLM and ERP systems.
- Solid experience in managing blue-collar workers, skilled in team motivation and cross-departmental collaboration.
