China Commercial Head - High-Level Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional leader to establish and grow our presence in China. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a visionary operator who can build a business from the ground up.
Core Mission:
- Develop and execute the complete go-to-market (GTM) strategy for China.
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing, cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Success.
- Drive operational excellence and own the P&L to deliver on ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise Required
- Craft and implement a data-driven GTM strategy tailored for the China market.
- Build and lead a high-performing B2B SaaS sales team with expertise in consultative selling.
- Own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and demos to negotiation and closing.
- Identify and penetrate new verticals within the hospitality sector (luxury hotels, fine dining groups, large restaurant chains).
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent, establishing clear career development paths.
- Create a performance-driven culture through structured coaching, regular reviews, and clear KPIs.
- Develop and enforce operational playbooks, SOPs, and workflows to ensure scalability and quality.
- Ensure full local compliance with employment laws, data privacy, and operational regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between the China team and global headquarters, bridging time zones and cultures.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years
of professional experience, with
at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
within
SaaS, Hospitality Tech, or a related industry. - Demonstrated success in
building and managing high-performing sales and operations teams. - Strong understanding of
B2B SaaS sales cycles
; experience in hospitality, POS, or reservation systems is highly advantageous. - Extensive network
