More About The Role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a
Field quality engineer
in Shanghai with Signify.

  • Executes complaint resolution process for escalated complex complaints on product level
  • Leads cross functional problem-solving teams using 8D methodology and assure corrective and preventive actions
  • Analyzes product performance in the field and proposes improvement programs to assure targets are met
  • Analyses external CoNQ and proposes improvement programs to assure targets are met.
  • Train and instructs markets on problem solving approaches using existing processes like knowledge documents

More About You
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • A bachelor's degree or above is generally required. Relevant majors such as electrical engineering, lighting engineering, mechanical engineering, and quality management are preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in quality-related positions in the manufacturing industry. Those with a background in the lighting industry or the electronics and electrical appliances industry are preferred. Familiarity with the production processes and quality control key points of lighting products and understanding of knowledge such as LED technology and optical principles.
  • Fluent English is required. English should be used as the working language for daily communication, writing reports, and participating in meetings, etc.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools, such as 8D reports, fishbone diagrams, FMEA, SPC, etc., and the ability to use these tools for the analysis and resolution of quality issues.
  • Have good problem-solving and decision-making abilities and be able to quickly make judgments and take effective measures to deal with on-site quality problems.
