Responsible for the performance of the supply chain. Responsible for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or inventory for the assigned products in order to have the right products at the right time in the right place, while keeping costs and working capital low.
Main accountabilities
Depending on the supply chain organizational set-up, below (subset of) accountabilities can be assigned:
- Sales & Operations
- Run S&OP (demand & supply consensus) plan with business and strive for continuous improvement
- Incorporate in- & external data, e.g. sell-out data, to come to final plan
- Balance between S&OP material forecast and Financial forecast
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain & optimize inventory related master data
- Determine inventory levels based on sales requirements and supply possibilities
- Minimize the business risks by finding best balance between service level, cost and working capital
- Active follow-up of inventory provisions and write-offs, taking into account product lifecycle changes
- Order fulfilment:
- Act as business partner for the (sales desk, project mgr., sales, etc.) by supporting stakeholders to fulfil customer orders in time, taking actions to solve shortages, coordinate order escalations
- Supply chain projects (NPI, projects & reporting):
- Analyze, design & implement business optimization projects
- Run business reporting
- Support Quality management. in auditing international supply chain processes
- Develop product cost reporting and Supply Chain for Software/License Product
China Factory Role Specific Content
- Responsible for the performance of the Supply Chain of Healthcare Suzhou, drive Supply Chain KPIs
- Managing a team of Logistic Buyers, Planners, Warehousing and Import/Export
- Managing the planning in line with the S&OP plan – inflow of materials (inventory control), production scheduling, capacity planning in manufacturing
- Local action in China inventory, in support of Global supply chain – link locally with sales and finance to lower the non-moving and write-offs
- Good connection with other plants, linked to Healthcare business
Education
- Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
Competences
- Knowledge: In depth knowledge of ERP system (ideally with SAP MM, APO, BI) Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP BI
- Skills:
Analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Negotiation, mediation and communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Understanding of global demand and supply relationships
Solid understanding of Market or BU demand & supply characteristics
Fluent in English, both orally and in written
