Main Duties :

Based on a culture of integrity, team, expertise, and ownership, the RLOEM will manage all processes, KPIs, financial and capacity reporting for the respective region and working closely with the global Operations leader. The RLOEM will execute outbound and inbound related activities to achieve the lowest optimized delivered cost, while balancing business and customer needs. The RLOEM will be a critical point of contact for the global logistics ITO organization related to respective regional requirements. The RLOEM will manage daily customs operation activities.

Responsibilities :

  • Work cross-functionally to optimize processes & tools
  • Show organizational leadership and ownership of key logistics metrics and lead additional operational activities, as needed
  • Primary interface with the regional business teams for all operational, process, and improvement related topics
  • Supports regional project execution teams to facilitate on time, within budget, best quality, and damage free project execution
  • Executes nuclear power plant projects
  • Routes, tracks, and traces freight from pickup to delivery
  • Creates transport and Customs related documentation
  • Supervises and controls Customs clearances in the countries of departure and destination
  • Supports logistics-related claim management
  • Interacts with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, quality, scheduling departments
  • Interacts and negotiates with external parties (e.g. suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, chambers of commerce, embassies)
  • Participate in Tender Kick-off Meetings and Tender/Sales cost reviews
  • Support cost out initiatives
  • Oversee and manage all regional customs operation activities
  • Acts in strict compliance with the business division of authority (DoA)

Required Competences

Education

  • Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education
  • Minimum 10 years professional logistics, customs, sales support, and project execution experience

Experience

  • Must bring high energy with strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience
  • Minimum 4 years Logistics / Planning / Leadership experience
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Proven experience working with diverse, global teams
  • Experience in developing business level summaries
