Job Description
Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst
Reporting to: Global Head of Risk
As part of the global risk, credit & compliance team, he/she will be accountable for assessing credit risk, evaluating supplier performance risk and build e-commerce financing credit decision model. This role exercises judgment and influence to enable business strategy with appropriate controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop e-commerce or other scenario-based credit decision model, process as well as credit monitoring rules to support the new business growth.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers and suppliers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and market trends.
- Supplier Performance Risk Management: Monitor and assess supplier reliability, financial health, and operational stability to mitigate potential commercial disputes.
- Data Analysis: Gather, verify, and analyze internal financial and operational data, ensuring precision in calculations and data integrity.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, data gathering & modelling, and credit decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering or others.
- 5 years in credit risk analysis, data driven-credit decision, supplier risk management, or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement in English and Mandarin (Putonghua).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data modeling and risk management frameworks.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM, CPA) is a plus.
- Project management experiences.
