JOB CONTENTS:
- To do a global Technological/Scientific & Competitive Intelligence in the field of chemistry.
- To promote innovations by writing relevant patents.
- To prospects for collaboration with Universities or Industry.
- To support the marketing and sales team regarding the analysis and product upgrade work.
- To structure projects studies (objectives, resources, delay, milestone, follow-up, reporting).
- To do chemical synthesis with the technicians/operators in order to fulfil all the requirements needed to move to next steps in project management procedure.
- To respond to R&D services and requests (plant production, process team, business, sales, finance…).
- To assist in continuous improvement in laboratory, propose new method and suggestions and take an active part in department meetings.
- To prepare monthly reports of his R&D work and quarterly newsletter of chemistry and processes.
- To manage and ensure the development of technicians under his responsibility: management, planning of experiments, follow-up of progress, training, development, KPI definition.
- Other work assigned by supervisors.
ADISSEO VALUES BASED COMPETENCIES:
- Master or above.
- Organic chemistry or Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Reactor/reaction/process optimization experience in fine chemistry or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
- 3 or more years work experience.
- Knowledge in reaction mechanisms, design and conduct experiments independently, to continuously optimize processes or solve other problems..
- Able to drive new ideas or projects for development, optimization and service at RICA level.
- Experience in R&D in the field of organic synthesis or process development.
- Knowledge in chemical analysis including experience in HPLC, GC, MS, etc.
- Able to read and write in English for daily work. Fluency in spoken English is preferred.
- Use of scientific information tools (database, ChemDraw ect…).
- Read and understand scientific and/or technical documents related to chemistry and analysis.
- Others Software: Microsoft Office (word, Excel, power-point, Outlook) and Internet.
