Job Overview**
- We are seeking a seasoned Head of Demand Planning – Greater China to lead regional demand planning activities across Consumer and Commercial businesses. The role is responsible for creating a consensus-based forecast, aligning cross-functional assumptions, and leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning-based forecasting to improve accuracy and business alignment. This leader will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end demand planning strategy, facilitating S&OP processes, and ensuring strong collaboration across business functions at the country, cluster, and regional levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate consensus planning by managing, chairing, and coordinating regional demand planning activities across Consumer and Commercial businesses.
- Lead the development and communication of a single set of forecasts, ensuring clarity in assumptions and alignment across supply chain functions.
- Maintain demand planning process quality by employing demand analytics at various levels (product line, rim size, target market segment) to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Track and monitor Forecast Value Add (FVA) metrics to measure planning effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Business Analysts) to quantify and align assumptions for Price, Place, Promotion, Product, and external factors.
- Manage new product lifecycle planning and ensure integration with S&OP and RvsCC processes.
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years combined experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning), Sales, or Marketing.
- At least 3–5 years leading demand planning functions in mid-to-large-scale organizations.
- Strong background in forecasting, demand planning, and leadership in complex, matrix organizations.
- Deep knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Sales & Marketing.
- Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and integrated demand planning systems (o9, Kinaxis, E2Open, IBP).
- Exposure to advanced analytics and ML-based forecasting approaches.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Work permit for China required.

- Rotation experience across multiple supply chain roles.
