TDK (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd., located in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China, belongs to TDK Electronics AG, it is a location for the manufacturing of electronic spare parts with about 4000 team members. Main products are transformers, chokes, inductors and filters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development for 3 business units (BU), working closely with global BU management to define growth strategy, plan and organize necessary resources, implement and follow up business plan/strategies. Drive comprehensive business/project success , e.g. cost optimization, technology innovation.
- Team management for product marketing, product development departments in Hongqi. Grow talents, competence and capabilities for IH organization.
- Lead IH team to develop new business with innovative technology, new products. Investigate and analyze market/technology development trends, work closely with global PD/PM, local PM, FAE to define future product concept, future target application, and target cost.
- Drive innovation activities, continuously develop technology, develop capabilities by IH, e.g. improve lab capability, build up standard/application know how/basic material knowledge database. Set up and lead team for future technological development.
- Coordinate with headquarters for key topics related to business development, product and technology roadmap, new technology development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, majored in electronic engineering or relevant.
- Deep knowledge in magnetic component design and application, especially in automotive market, focus is power conversion, communication.
- Deep knowledge in power electronics, familiar with typical topologies, e.g. flyback, LLC, DAB, push pull, buck/boost, and understand clearly about requirements for the magnetic components.
- Deep understanding of international standard components (e.g. IEC 61558, IEC 60939, AEC-Q..), application (UL508, LV123/1124, CISPR25.), materials (UL746, IEC
- Able to follow up and study latest technology development, e.g. IC development, ADAS, massive computation, SMC development.
- Very fluent English.
5 years as managing position in business development (BD) function.
10 years as managing + developer position in magnetic component development or > 10 years in power electronics (inverter, OBC, UPS.) development.
- Able to work under pressure; international thinking and working style: With innovative thinking; Proactive, willing to take responsibility, Willing to develop team members; Strong business sense, customer orientation.
- Familiar with magnetic component manufacturing industry and supply chain.
- Familiar with magnetic component production process.
- Familiar with production process of PCBA, molding, connection technology (welding, soldering, glueing).
