life science expertise and understanding of regulatory affairs
to uncover market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and develop targeted marketing strategies that resonate with our core client base.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Research (60%)
- Conduct in-depth primary and secondary market research focused on the China life science regulatory environment, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape of regulatory affairs service providers, including their service offerings, pricing, and market positioning.
- Track and interpret evolving China NMPA regulations and policies, assessing their impact on the industry and our service portfolio.
- Develop detailed profiles of target client segments, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies, understanding their regulatory needs and pain points.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Forecast market growth and potential for new service offerings.
Marketing Strategy & Execution (40%)
- Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing campaigns to generate leads and build brand awareness within the life science sector.
- Create high-value, targeted marketing content (e.g., whitepapers, market reports, blog posts, webinars) that demonstrates thought leadership in regulatory affairs.
- Manage digital marketing channels, including LinkedIn campaigns, SEO/SEM, and email marketing, tailored for a professional B2B audience.
- Support the business development team by providing intelligence for pitches and proposals.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events (as required).
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, leveraging insights to optimize future activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
:
- Expected 5-6 years of relevant experience in pharma companies (commercial, BD, or R &D), with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to regulatory affairs.
- Demonstrable excellent analytical, communication, experience in B2B marketing, including content creation and digital marketing strategies.
- A proactive, and entrepreneurial work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) is highly preferred.
Highly Preferred:
- Direct experience in a regulatory affairs role or a closely adjacent function (e.g., clinical operations, quality assurance) within a pharma/biotech company or CRO.
- Experience marketing services (not just products) to a highly technical audience.
- Established network within the China life science industry.
