We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Director of Real Estate Valuation Services. This role will oversee the valuation business across China, ensuring high-quality delivery, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and business growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in property valuation, team leadership, and client advisory across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Lead and manage the real estate valuation division, including team performance, client relationships, and operational excellence
Develop and execute business strategies to grow valuation services and expand market share
Oversee valuation assignments for diverse property types, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IVS, RICS, USPAP)
Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, developers, financial institutions, and government bodies
Ensure quality control and peer review processes are in place for all valuation reports
Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, and ensure the team remains compliant and competitive
Mentor and develop valuation professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Support cross-functional collaboration with research, capital markets, and advisory teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Professional valuation certification (e.g., MRICS, ASA, API, CPV) is highly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in property valuation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record in managing teams and delivering complex valuation projects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
- High integrity, analytical mindset, and commercial acumen
