Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead price negotiations, contract and frame agreement management, ensuring the best cost, lead time, delivery, and payment terms with suppliers.
  • Develop and optimize procurement procedures in alignment with site strategic plans.
  • Identify and establish dual sources for critical commodities to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Evaluate and analyze supplier performance, delivery service levels, and cost structures to manage net material inflation (NMI).
  • Support Marine global R&D, Production, Sourcing, and Commodity teams in new product introductions, production relocations, and outsourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on new parts and projects to meet customer-specific technical requirements and provide cost-optimized solutions.
  • Work closely with internal purchasing, planning, and production teams to ensure material availability, effective inventory management, and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with supplier quality teams for new parts and process qualification.
  • Partner with the AP supply chain team on cost optimization, lead time reduction, and regionalization initiatives.
  • Maintain SAP/Oracle system data integrity, including vendor and material master management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support sourcing and supply chain excellence.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of electrical or mechanical components, machining processes, and market intelligence.
  • Strong capability in data analysis using digital, AI, or BI tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Proven track record in global sourcing or marine/industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in localization projects, cost reduction programs, or supplier development.
  • Familiarity with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with R&D, production, and quality teams.
