  • Ensure on-time delivery of cost-effective, high-quality seat frame designs within project timelines, aligning with internal specifications and external customer requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and manage 3D data for complex seat frame parts and assemblies, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers based on customer inputs, supplier feedback, and industry conventions.
  • Review technical accuracy of drawings, (M)-BOMs, and design documents, coordinating with cross-functional departments (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Quality) to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct functional engineering analyses, including building tolerance stacks and validating against functional specification targets for seat frame performance.
  • Partner with technical experts for advanced calculations and simulations (e.g., 3DCS Tolerances, Kinematics, Moldflow) to optimize seat frame design.
  • Liaise with EU/NA Lead Design teams to stay updated on global design status for localization and BTP projects.
  • Propose design improvements and adaptations for local markets, considering regional requirements in materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes specific to seat frames. Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in automotive seat frame design, with a proven track record in automotive industry or comparable technical roles.
  • Deep expertise in automotive seat frame product design, manufacturing processes, and performance requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Catia) and automotive development tools (FEA, Excel, tolerance calculation tools).
  • Strong ability to present and defend technical concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Intermediate business English skills (written and verbal) to support cross-functional and international collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities, focusing on balancing quality, cost, and efficiency in seat frame design.
