Overall Role Purpose
Responsible for coordinating a team of supervisor, team leader, agent, staffs to consistently meet service standards and performance within budget parameters. It is accountable for managing (a) the outbound clearance process within established standards for processing and transit time.

- Monitor inbound and outbound shipment processing through the clearance and ensure clearance is smooth and rapid including customs, quarantine censorship, etc.
- Ensure the clearance process meets all legal and statutory requirements;
- Manage the resources of the Customs Clearance Unit including cost and performance management;
- Deal and negotiate with customs officials directly on problem shipments;
- Manage clearance status of shipments held in bond for any reason;
- Liaise with DHL customers where paperwork and authorities are required from them to expedite clearance of their shipments;
- Provide management information and reports as required;
- Coordinated with sales, service centers and customs for shipment tracking, tracing and resolve the problem when require;
- Provide the world-class reliable and consistent service, Customs information and interaction with customers;
- Create a positive customer experience which increases customer retention, repeat business and loyalty; while improving customer access to DHL services;
- Visit customers for service enhancement and trouble shooting concerned issues;
- First Choice project as assigned;
- This position will require leadership, influencing and guidance skills. Ability to develop individuals developing their strengths and improving their weaknesses is an ongoing necessity;
- Facilitate training for staffs.
任职要求Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- 3-5 years relevant experience of working with customs supply chain management industry;
- Customs broker license (preferable);
- Software skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.);
- Communications skills (English), spoken and written;
- Negotiation and persuasive skills;
- Presentation skills;
- Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills;
- Clearance process background and customs regulations.
