Overview
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager for China is to identify, develop, and manage relationships with key consultants and end-user customers in the region. This role focuses on supporting and educating these stakeholders about Q-SYS solutions and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to distributors, system integrators, and consultants on project bidding, including RFP/RFI support.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Director to develop and maintain relationships with system integrators, consultants, and End-users.
- Manage pipeline and opportunities for system integrators, consultants, and End-users, ensuring revenue expectations are met based on the pipeline.
- Resolve channel and pricing conflicts among direct System Integrator partners
- Coordinate with applications engineers for solution demonstrations, technical training, and commissioning to End-users.
- Identify new market segments and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and AET to arrange conferences, seminars, and other special events.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the professional audio-video industry or related fields.
- Experience as an AVC Systems Engineer, Contractor, and/or Consultant.
- Familiarity with third-party control integration brands.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a clear and consistent market message for a solution-based product portfolio.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and/or experience in channel management within Integrated Systems markets and Global Accounts
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems across diverse scopes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizationa levels
- Proficient in multi-tasking, details-oriented, well-organized, and possessing strong time-management skills.
- Extensive experience using CRM systems (eg Salesforce) for quotation and pipeline management
