The Senior Process Engineer designs, analyzes, and optimizes semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve yield and performance. This role leads troubleshooting efforts, supports component selection, and collaborates with sales and customers to drive business development. It provides technical training, coordinates team activities, and ensures timely, data-driven solutions. Frequent client interaction and travel are essential to delivering engineering excellence and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and optimize PID for different processes, including Etch/CVD/EPI/Implant/etc.
 - Design and conduct experiments, compile and analyze data to determine processes with higher yield.
 - Troubleshoot and resolve process engineering-related issues.
 - Identify and optimize component selection for semiconductor equipment.
 - Support the sales team for new business development. Frequent client-visit travels are required.
 - Deliver prompt responses to immediate customer engineering queries and work closely with the customer.
 - Execute technical training to internal staff based on needs.
 - Arrange or coordinate the work of team members and other technical support personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requirement:
- Rich SEMI application & process experience. Understanding wafer-level process flow & interaction between substrate and process equipment.
 - Sealing, gasketing, vacuum-compatible components selection experience.
 - Familiar with semiconductor-grade materials, eg, quartz, ceramic, and anodised.
 - In-depth understanding of DOE and FEA for thermal & flow analysis.
 - Capable of conducting in-depth analysis and independently resolving complex issues.
 - Proficiency in written and oral English.
 
Educational/Certification Requirement
:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Mechanical/Material Science/Chemistry or related Engineering
 
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years' research or work experience with Etch/CVD/EPI/Implant processes and/or equipment.
 - Working knowledge of CAD software – AutoCAD.
 - Working knowledge of a quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment preferred.
