RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for the daily inspection of X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (XRF), including quality testing of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, to ensure compliance with corporate standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform sampling inspections (such as AQL standards) or full inspections, using professional tools (such as spectral analysis software) to verify data accuracy.
  • Monitor key parameters during the production process (such as temperature, pressure, excitation conditions), immediately stop operations upon detecting abnormalities, and initiate deviation handling procedures.
  • Identify and isolate non-conforming products, promote rework or scrap, and track the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Quality data management and improvement.
  • Maintain inspection records (such as patrol inspection reports, finished product inspection forms), regularly analyze pass rate and defect rate trends, and provide basis for quality improvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects, use tools such as SPC and fishbone diagrams to analyze the root causes of defects, and propose preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance and collaboration.
  • Ensure that inspection processes comply with ISO/IEC 17025 or industry standards (such as GB standards), and participate in internal audits and customer factory inspections.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to resolve supplier material quality issues or customer complaints.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED OF THE JOB HOLDER:

Basic English reading and writing skills, reporting to US plant is required.

Proficient in the operation and maintenance of handheld XRF spectrometers, including calibration, drift correction, and stability testing.

Familiar with QC processes and relevant QC work experience, capable of performing contamination checks using silicate glass sheets and verifying instrument accuracy with NIST samples.

Possess data analysis skills (such as RSD calculation, error analysis), and be proficient in using supporting software.

Minimum 5 years of experience in XRF instrumental analysis or quality inspection, with preference given to those with on-site testing or production line QC background.

Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO/IEC 17025 and GMP, and able to handle customer complaints and supplier material issues.
