Shunde, China REPORTING TO: Merchandising Manager ABOUT YOUR ROLE: To lead a team to drive business results covering product development, product sourcing for

Wrangler ATG Global line. Work with commercial teams in US, EMEA, China & CASA and various function within sourcing organization like product stewardship, quality, operations to come up with unified way of working that support true globalization of wrangler ATG. Coordinating between global market EMEA, APAC, NAM and licensees around the globe for consolidation on material bookings, commitments on deliveries and align those needs, propose options to global teams in case there are changes in demand, deliver slides from vendors etc. Work with vendors and regional offices throughout Asia, Europe and find solutions that is workable for all markets, voice out production challenges, propose solutions to overcome those issues.

  • Facilitate and Drive Brand Globalization o Considering the Global line find balance on what needs to developed throw Kontoor owned development centers and what needs to go to vendor. o Considering that same style will be utilized by different markets, map out a process to get brand's approval on product quality & asthetics while ensuring that this is satisfying needs of all region.
  • Keeping in mind regional consumer needs, export/Import regulations between different countries, duties, transportation leadtime; indentify countries and vendors with most suitable for all regions for the styles that needs to be shipped to multiple regions.

  • Vendor matrix management o Provide suggestion to management on vendor consolidation and allocation planning for most effective results with cost effective implications under strict timeline/framework o Streamline vendor base in relation to compliance status to establish lean sourcing platform o Understand characteristics of vendors and use this knowledge on vendor planning order allocation. 供应商矩阵管理
  • Costing management o Initiate costing exercise among regions/vendors to get costing insight for vendor base planning o Supporting team for negotiation on costing and delivery in proto/SMS/final order stage, with vendors to fulfill business KPI from Planning and Product Management team o Being able to interpret and present cost components analysis reports and provide insights of findings and improvement plan in a meaningful way o Facilitate data integrity maintenance for business including cost saving, seasonal order data summary and business analytics thru team work 成本管理 。
  • Production delivery management o Work with regional sourcing teams to come up with Dummy PO issue/fabric booking dates and sizing dates based on in DC date requirement. o When dates between the two regions are not aligned propose solutions like producting and holding the garments, book fabric in one go but product at different time for different markets. o Work with regional teams to make sure the production is on track o Give alerts to global team if delivery changes form one region are impacting other regions. o Liaison with Global merchanding and operations team to find solutions which most effective in meeting Global needs in case of changes in quantity and delivery. o Give alerts to any potential disruption that might impact ontime delivery. o

If one region drops a style that may impact other regions bring that up in Global call with proposals on how this challenge can be handled most effectively. 生产交付管理

  • Data management & communiction o Keep Global time and action chart up to date o Keep a good track of material liability and delivery changes and keep global teams informed with the information. o Publish weekly updates and micro alerts to avoid last minute surprise o Ensure the accuracy of information to be passed along to the concerned parties. 数据管理与沟通 2.

Key relationship optimisation Create, drive and sustain effective and influential key relationship with internal and external partners that will maximize business objectives

  • Building trust with management, other business units and functional teams to understand company/business needs. Be the voice for the team internally and representing Kontoor externally
  • Establish strong trust and connectivity with product design/product management team on the expected development deliverables, resolving complaints, claims and any possible issues.
  • Establish meaningful relationship with Operation and planning team for better communication regarding lead-time and material pre-booking challenges to find alternative solutions.  Geographic Scope: This role will be working with regional teams in South Asia, China and vendors. Work with Brand partner in Greenboro, Hong Kong, Antwerp, Mexico, licensee in Thailand and South Africa.  Direct reports/ Dotted Line (If any): The role will have 3 direct reports

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree holder preferably in apparel related disciplines or equivalent

 Experience
7 years apparel experience preferably with outdoor products with at least 2 years of supervisor role experience. SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS ( if any) Include but not limited to - Direct Reports: Merchandiser, Senior Merchandiser, Global planner - Internal Stakeholder: Sourcing development team, Global Procurement team, Product Design team, Product management team, QC team, TD team, Product Safety and Stewardship team.  Other Specific Working Conditions: Owing to the time zones difference, the candidate will be required to work occasionally outside normal working hours for online meetings with associates in other regions.
