The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Compliance Officer
to join our team and take ownership of our global compliance framework. This is a senior position where you will ensure that Beetronics monitors consistently meet product, environmental, and industry-specific compliance requirements. You will work closely with our operations team, product development, and suppliers (particularly in Shenzhen), and help us scale compliance as a core pillar of our business.
Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve the compliance framework
: assess intended uses of our monitors (stand-alone and integrated into client systems) and determine which standards apply. This includes, for example:
o
Regulatory compliance
such as CE, FCC, IC, UKCA, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, packaging, and energy labels.
o
Industry-specific overlays
where required, e.g. EN 50155 / IEC 61373 for railway, IEC 60945 / DNV for maritime, ISO 16750 for automotive, or IEC 60601 for medical contexts.
o
Environmental classifications and testing
, for instance interpreting IEC 60721 condition classes (e.g.
6K2 for climatic, 6M2 for mechanical
) and translating them into IEC 60068 test methods, defining baselines and avoiding redundant testing.

Manage compliance documentation
: test reports, declarations, certificates, risk assessments, and technical files.

Plan and oversee testing programs
with third-party labs and suppliers, ensuring efficiency (e.g., one baseline test covering multiple industries where justified).

Work with factories and our Shenzhen team
on audits, incoming inspections, and continuous compliance monitoring.

Support product development
, ensuring compliance requirements (environmental durability, EMI robustness, material regulations) are integrated early into design.

Stay ahead of regulatory changes
in Europe, the US, and other key markets, advising the business on impact and required actions.
About You
· Strong background in product compliance, ideally in
electronics or hardware manufacturing
.
· Experience with
international compliance frameworks
(EU, US, Asia).
· Familiarity with
environmental and industry-specific standards
(e.g., IEC 60068, IEC 60721, EN 50155, IEC 60945, ISO
· Hands-on experience with
testing and certification processes
, technical documentation, and supplier coordination.
· Pragmatic and detail-oriented: able to identify what needs to be tested and design efficient compliance programs that balance robustness with business needs.
· Communicative and collaborative, able to work across functions and with international teams.
