How You'll Make An Impact
- ISO14001/45001 certification - you will lead internal audit and coordinate external audit to maintain the certifications.
- You will do regulations monitoring and share the updates with units, monitor HSE performance, advise and follow up improvement actions and support HSE initiatives in the units for continues improvement.
- You will be training support (LSR, PICW, ABRA).
- You will support Chinese HSE documentation (Policy, posters, training courses, operating system documentation, survey etc.), coordinate Green Electricity Certification purchasing in China and support local sustainability initiatives.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- More than 5years of EHS experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or other high-risk industries.
- Experience in EHS audits, compliance inspections, and corrective action plans.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH, or China's Registered Safety Engineer are preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management to drive EHS compliance across units. Deep understanding of Chinese EHS regulations and global standards (ISO 14001, ISO and skilled in risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency response.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
