Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Drilling Group's technical strategy and innovation roadmap for integrated drilling operations.
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary technical teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and cross-line collaboration.
Establish, implement, and monitor technical standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure product quality, technical integrity, and operational safety.
Provide technical leadership and expert input for major projects, proposals, and technical reviews.
Foster collaboration with international clients, partners, and research institutions to drive continuous improvement and technology advancement.
Supervise and guide senior engineers and technical managers, building a globally competitive and high-performing technical team.
Support strategic decision-making through professional evaluation of technical risks, trends, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Geology, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. Master's degree preferred.
Graduate of a top global university (Top 50 preferred).
Minimum 15 years of drilling-related experience, with at least 8 years in technical or engineering management.
Proven track record in large-scale or overseas oil & gas projects, particularly in the Middle East or similar environments.
Professional engineering qualification such as Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Strong command of English communication, including technical documentation, presentation, and negotiation.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, innovation mindset, and leadership in managing multicultural technical teams.
