Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and holistic business plans with key suppliers to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements that optimize value and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.

Strategic Sourcing:

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to drive sourcing decisions and achieve cost savings.

Product Range Management:

  • Development and management of a best-in-class supplier offer, fully aligned to customer needs and the overall category strategy.
  • Management and maintenance of product lifecycle including NPI, discontinuations & revenue protection.
  • NPI delivery supported by the acquisition of suppliers' transactional data and product content.
  • Management of supplier product costs and price movements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing and supplier management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including global and regional sales, operations, and function teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and procurement roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favourable terms and cost savings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a matrix and cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience of online trading and digital tools is a plus.
