Purpose of the role Reporting to Assistant Finance Manager, APAC, the Junior Accountant assist to support the overall agency finance encompassing commercial, financial and aspects for the North of Asia Office mainly. This role is expected to support finance operations and ensure all financial output is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Main responsibilities: Operational Finance:

  • Ensure completeness of monthly revenue recognition and month/year end closing.
  • Work with team to support accurate data for timely reporting at month end.
  • Cashflow Management including review of payment process & timely client collections.
  • Oversee the management of AR AP issues of North of Asia.
  • Maintain monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Support in the audit process to provide relevant supporting documents.
  • Assist and provide support to manager with specific projects and Ad hoc duties where required. Finance Projects / Process Improvement Any ad-hoc duties or projects assigned by manager which is necessary to improve the processes or controls within the company. Skills, knowledge, experience, and exposure Professional Experience
  • Minimum 1 to 3 year of experience in Accounting or Finance in a mid to large organisation.
  • Fluency in English and Madarin required; Korean & Japanese is a plus Knowledge & Skills
  • Great working knowledge and experience of finance processes in North of Asia.
  • Be Proficient in MS Office like Excel, systems and process skills.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment (internal or external).
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret data.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Temperament for the role
