About this opportunity:
We are thrilled to invite nominations for the position of Technology Specialist at Ericsson.
The position of Senior Specialist Function systemization M-MIMO/Remote Radio is to ensure high quality and timely function delivery to increase the competence of M-MIMO/Remote Radio function matrix and secure the Ericsson continuous functionality advantage. The role needs to lead the function implementation from technical concept to systemization and final commercialization with focus on below areas:
- Radio Basic Function mainly handles the generic functions in the radio and the function common for both TX and RX.
- Energy performance, functions aim to scale energy consumption with load and reduce base consumption. Included but not limited to SBPS, component power save, section/dynamic VDD, ASIC clock gating, deep sleep, M-MIMO/MIMO sleep, Power over Booking, LESS, energy metering.
What you will do:
- Drive and participate in the evolution of radio technical roadmap to ensure software architecture fulfilling requirements regarding focus areas.
- Define function requirements and use cases for new functions.
- Lead technical analysis and steer systemization with software architecture evolvement and modularity landing etc.
- Lead the integration sketch of ASICs into M-MIMO/Remote platforms, ensuring compatibility with existing hardware and software design.
- Drive data driven systemization for new radio products and energy performance features, identify the feature gain and explore enhancement and improvement opportunity.
- Lead sub-system reliability analysis and define function/features to ensure product reliability and compliance.
- Incorporate emerging trends in wireless technology (6G, AI-native radio, advanced cybersecurity) and proactively incorporate relevant innovations into system design.
- Make final decision on system-level functional design, ensuring alignment with architectural and strategic goals.
- Identify the technical direction of the radio functionality to product management.
- Influence system interfaces and integration strategies with other product components and subsystems.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant technical domains.
- Strong background in one or more of the following areas: SDN, NFV, Cloud Platforms, Edge Computing, Software Design, Solution Architecture, Project Management, or Technical Coordination.
- Solid understanding of Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated passion for technology, product innovation, and system design.
- Creative, analytical, and flexible problem-solving mindset with the ability to work across functions and technologies.
