Executive Summary

  • As a Buyer in our procurement and logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials, supplies, and resources to meet project requirements. You will be responsible for managing supplier performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Your efforts will directly contribute to optimizing our supply chain operations and enhancing internal customer satisfaction.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchase order creation and execution, urgent PO delivery management, non-conforming material processing, importing material & export goods customs and logistics supporting, ensure all purchasing activities aligning with company & custom policies, procedures.
  • Responsible for supplier delivery performance management to achieve on time delivery target and meet project requirement, proactively drive supplier and supply chain continuous improvement.
  • Support supply chain operations, including contract management, system & tool, process improvement, KPI data analysis, trade compliance and logistics, supplier communication, etc.
  • Responsible for inbound and outbound transportation issues, including warehousing matters. Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain materials from ABB internal vendor and performance improvement.
  • Continue improvement align with P2P policy requirement.
  • Handling and resolving vendor's invoices and payment issue.
  • Other tasks from the business unit and supply Chain.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or above in relevant field. 5+ years of working experience in supply chain,procurement,planning or commercial or international trade etc.
  • Excellent business negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent systematically thinking and data analysis ability.
  • Knowledge on SAP PP and MM module, familiar with the application of office software.
  • Knowledge of planning, purchasing, logistics or international trade.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication skills with internal functions.
  • High sense of ownership and proactivity.
  • Have courage to accept the challenges and rigorous in routine work.
  • Excellent teamwork and cooperation skills with cross functions.
  • Fluent in oral and written English communication.
