Job Description
- Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures within the logistics department.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including import and export laws.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance matters.
- Collaborate with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all trade compliance activities and documentation.
- Support the logistics team in resolving any compliance-related issues.
- Stay updated on changes in trade compliance regulations and adapt company policies accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Trade Compliance Manager should have:
- A strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing compliance audits and liaising with regulatory authorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
