About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven
Game Operations Manager
to accelerate the growth of Xiaomi's global game publishing and distribution business via GetApps, Xiaomi's official app store. In this role, you will lead strategic game operations initiatives and performance-based campaigns that boost installs, revenue, and engagement for mobile games across Xiaomi's key international markets.

This position sits at the intersection of operations, partnerships, product, and monetization. You'll work closely with China HQ team, developers, and platform stakeholders to shape GetApps into a high-performance game distribution channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional growth strategies for mobile game acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization on GetApps.
  • Manage and optimize the full lifecycle of gaming content on GetApps — from launch planning and feature placements to live ops, event promotions, and revenue uplift tactics.
  • Analyze user behavior, funnel performance, and in-store engagement data to inform decision-making and maximize ROI of game operations.
  • Coordinate across product, adtech, data, and marketing teams to roll out scalable tools and capabilities supporting game developer success.
  • Partner with top global and regional game developers to co-create campaigns, align monetization roadmaps, and deepen engagement through in-store promotions and platform synergies.
  • Continuously refine genre-specific strategies across casual, mid-core, hardcore, and hybrid-casual segments to meet local market demands.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor tactics, and emerging monetization models to keep GetApps at the forefront of mobile game distribution.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile game operations, liveops, publishing, or platform growth roles.
  • Proven track record of driving game revenue and install growth, preferably within an OEM, app store, or mobile publishing platform.
  • Familiarity with app store ecosystem dynamics, user acquisition strategies, and in-app monetization models.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using dashboards, A/B testing, and cohort-based performance analysis.
  • Excellent English (written and spoken), and fluency in Spanish or Russian is a strong advantage.
  • Effective cross-functional communicator with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-informed, global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with Top 200 grossing game publishers or managing operations for high-performing titles.
  • Knowledge of OEM monetization models, mobile game ad mediation, and subscription-based game distribution.
  • Prior exposure to international app markets, especially in EU and CIS regions.
