Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Functions as team leader for development and execution of key tech strategies and activities that support the overall GF biz strategy.
- Applies scientific principles in development, product technology , quality control, packaging, processing
- Collaborate with supply chain to link product formulation activities to commercial fulfillment efficiency and product of safety and regulatory complaint products.
- Collaborates with Sales and marketing peers to manage and prioritize projects for key accounts
- Define and implement product development to improve efficiency and effectiveness of function.
- Supports innovation activities that support for the long range plan
- Define and implement talent management program for product development team.
- Establish goals, appraises performance, recommends training and provides input into final review for all direct reports. Coaches staff on job performance and career planning.
- Leverage methods and procedures for monitoring project success such as metrics, resources investment and expenditure.
- Responsible for maintaining the formula security and related confidential info.
Knowledge & Experience
- Min level of education: MS degree in Food Science/ Food chemistry or related degree.
- Experience min would be 15-20 years of Product development experience within the food industry.
- Experience should include the retail/foodservice manufacturer and extensive experience in working directly with customers and manufacturing facilities.
