What You Will Do
- Raw material purchasing for Changshu plant.
- Back up each other with KES procurement team.
- Solicit quotations, negotiate price/terms/delivery, use Arkestro to E-Bidding to maximize cost saving, prepare bid tab, issue PO, monitor supplier OTD, delivery expedite when need, apply for payment, solve problems after delivery if any.
- Effectively manage the whole procurement process from RFQ to delivery. Contributes to overall commercial, economic, and technical success of procurement and ensuring costs are optimized, goods are procured and delivered to meet the defined project or stakeholder's requirements.
- Maintain and develop positive supplier relationships.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as required by supervisor.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Ownership & integrity is a must be.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
- Rich knowledge of raw materials like painting, machining, steel plate, pipe, fitting, hardware, mesh, insulation, crating, etc is a plus.
- Experience of purchasing in the plant is a plus.
- Experience of working in combustion industry is a plus.
- Ability of technical clarification (e.g. painting & machining outsource) is a plus.
- Good English in written is a must be, in oral is a plus.
- Good ability of cost control & supplier on time delivery control is a plus.
- Good cooperation skill is required & a plus.
- Proficient technical software skills to keep accurate and easily accessible records: Intermediate level on MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word, ERP, E-bidding.
