Position
MISSION STATEMENT
In charge of the Fendi merchandise offer in Greater China, which includes leading the buying, merchandise training & coordinate display, product launches and commercial follow up activities from Headquarter.

Job Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Buying

  • Lead the team to study and define the product mix according to the specificity of the GC market
  • Lead the team to be involved in the preparation of OTB
  • Lead the team to be involved in the seasonal buying session to ensure the right merchandise is purchased for Greater China in the right quantity
  • Lead the team to distribute product information and order details to regional Business Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics Department and Retail after each buying
  • Lead the team to prepare merchandise book for each season
  • Lead the team to initiate and co-ordinate with Supply Chain department on re-ordering of merchandise

Merchandising, Training & Display

  • Lead the team to propose remerchandising of store during new product launch and season end sale
  • Lead the team to identify training needs and prepare training materials on Women's and Men's products
  • Lead the team to review and discuss with VM team on guidelines to visual merchandising and store on display according to HQ guidelines / new products

/ launch schedule / advertising & promotion program / image / sales and stock level

Commercial Follow-up

  • Supervise the monthly reports on product comments
  • Lead the team to review sales and sell-thru analyses and propose action plans if necessary
  • Lead the team to follow up with HQ on the development of quality and after sales services
  • Lead the team to conduct market research on customer behaviours, market trend, competitors' price and product offer

Profile
STANDARD LEVEL OF COMPETENCIES

  • Experience:

Minimum 10 years' merchandising experience in fashion retail industry in a managerial position.

  • Education:

University degree holder or above

  • Personality:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Detail and result oriented;
  • Flexibility to deal with different cultures;
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills;
  • Computer literacy (inc. Windows, Word processing, Power Point, Power BI…)
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin. Italian and Cantonese is a plus.
