Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Brand Sales, CTV/OTT to lead Xiaomi's international brand monetization efforts. This role is responsible for driving strategic partnerships with global advertisers and agencies, positioning Xiaomi's CTV/OTT inventory as a must-buy channel for premium brand campaigns.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in brand advertising sales across CTV/OTT and digital video, strong relationships with Fortune 500 advertisers and global media agencies, and a proven track record of building and scaling brand revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution
• Own the global CTV/OTT brand revenue target, leading pipeline growth and quarterly delivery.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for Xiaomi's CTV/OTT ad inventory across international markets.
• Establish Xiaomi as a premium brand advertising partner, aligned with client KPIs (reach,awareness, consideration, incremental reach, brand lift).
Client & Agency Partnerships
• Build and expand senior-level relationships with global advertisers, holding-company agencies (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu), and independent agencies.
• Lead joint business planning (JBP) discussions, annual negotiations, and upfront commitments.
• Educate partners on Xiaomi's audience scale, targeting capabilities, and measurement solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with product, marketing, and measurement teams to develop brand-first ad solutions (e.g., sponsorships, programmatic guaranteed, incremental reach).
• Work with regional sales teams to ensure consistent global messaging and execution.
• Collaborate with measurement/insights partners (Nielsen, Kantar, Comscore, etc.) to prove brand ROI.
Industry Representation
• Represent Xiaomi at industry events, trade shows, and thought-leadership forums (e.g.,Cannes Lions, IAB, Advertising Week).
• Benchmark Xiaomi's CTV/OTT brand offering against competitors like Samsung Ads, Roku,Amazon Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and Netflix.
Qualifications:
Experience
• 10+ years in digital advertising sales, with at least 5 years in brand/CTV/OTT/video sales at leading platforms (e.g., Google, Amazon Ads, Meta, TikTok, Samsung Ads, Roku).
• Proven success managing large global advertisers and agency groups.
• Experience structuring multi-million-dollar brand deals, upfronts, or programmatic guarantees.
Skills & Knowledge
• Deep understanding of CTV/OTT advertising, brand KPIs, and measurement frameworks(GRP, brand lift, reach/frequency, MMM).
• Strong negotiation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills with C-suite marketers and agency executives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed global organization.
Education & Language
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
• English proficiency required; additional languages (Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) preferred based on market coverage.
Location: Beijing
• Occasional international travel is required.
