Job Description
The individual in this role will be responsible for providing critical design engineering support for NAND flash memory customer issues. The position demands a high level of technical expertise and analytical skills. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Failure Case Analysis:
Investigate customer-reported failures from a design perspective.
- Deliver detailed root cause analysis reports to both product development teams and the customer-facing Failure Analysis team.
Failure sources may include logic or analog modules; therefore, a strong understanding of logic and/or analog design is preferred.
Quality and Testability Improvements:
Leverage insights from failure analysis to propose screening and stress enhancements for product development.
Recommend DFT (Design for Testability) improvements to optimize future product testability.
Design Verification Support:
Participate in design verification tasks during periods of lower FA workload.
Verification may involve:
Logic verification (requiring proficiency in Verilog and Verdi).
- Analog verification (requiring experience with Hspice or Finesim).
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years in logic, analog, or memory IC design is a must
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Proven ability to excel in high-pressure, dynamic environments is crucial.
- Must possess a high degree of self-motivation and the capacity to work autonomously, while also demonstrating strong collaborative skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities are required to address complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple concurrent tasks and consistently meeting stringent deadlines is necessary.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to communication are imperative for success in this role.
