- Define motors' specifications for Stihl robotic mower to fulfill customer requirements;
- Develop high-efficiency brushless motor solutions that meet cost targets and performance metrics;
- Collaborate closely with Chinese motor supply chain partners to ensure design manufacturability and cost efficiency;
- Maintain daily communication with project team to ensure designs meet STIHL product development requirements from schedule, cost and function;
- Perform electromagnetic simulation, thermal analysis and structural analysis to optimize motor performance;
- Develop test plans and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability;
- Stay updated with motor technology trends and introduce innovative design concepts. Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Motor Engineering or related field; 2. 5+ years of motor design experience, preferably in robotic mower or garden tool field;
- Proficiency in design methods, experienced with motor design software;
- Experience in motion&FOC control development;
- Extensive experience in supply chain collaboration, familiar with Chinese motor supply chain;
- Excellent cross-function communication skills, able to work effectively with project team;
- Fluent in English, capable of technical documentation and cross-border meeting communication;
- Team leadership and project management experience
