About The Business
Valuation and Modelling guides and advises clients on valuation methodologies and provide valuation advisory services relating to business interests. These include intellectual property, intangible assets, common and preferred stock and other securities, partnership interests, employee stock option plans (ESOPs), private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products relevant to our clients.
Work you'll do
- Support quality and validity of valuation analysis through economic and industry research, as well as financial analysis, and engineering analysis
- Support quality and validity of valuation analysis through market condition research and comparable transactions
- Construct financial representation of aspects of business and analyze key results
- Collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data, using standard tools and data visualizations to help surface insights
- Manage own work against the project plan to ensure an excellent client experience
- Gather and interpret financial information to help strengthen proposed recommendations
- Comply with quality standards, risk rules, and confidentiality guidelines to deliver results

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:
- Bachelor / Master Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering or MBA with preferable quantitative aptitude
- Minimum of one year's work experience, preferably in business valuation and/or financial instrument valuation
- Professional qualification of HKICPA/ CICPA / CFA or other equivalent overseas qualifications is an advantage
- Ability to support quality and validity of valuation analyses through economic and industry research, as well as financial analysis
- Solid knowledge of business and intangible asset valuation methodologies, and experience or basic knowledge of financial instrument valuation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg
- Good team player with excellent analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills in both English and Chinese
