=Main Tasks=

[Key Account Management]

  • Develops and maintains OEM strategy for sustainable and profitable growth to achieve OEM business sales, volume, profit and penetration rate KPI
  • Identifies OEM product/application and service needs, also make action plan for target applications, then lead and monitor the activities for OEMs
  • Develops and maintains extended relationships within OEM organization including technology & materials specification team and purchasing
  • Guides relevant sales colleagues to develop new business and projects to Tier1s from OEMs
  • Influences OEM – tier relationships in support of PM
  • Monitors trends and changes that provide OEM growth opportunities and guides PM resource spending
  • Initiates innovation projects and provides project management support
  • Clear about supplier value chain for related OEMs
  • Market Intelligence, conduct studies/analysis on market trend, competitors, products' applications and technology, service needs
  • Drives and develops direct businesses with OEMs in alignment with regional strategy and sales guidelines, terms and conditions

[Internal Collaboration]

  • Supports virtual global/regional ASIAN OEM team
  • Supports regional coordination for assigned OEMs
  • Takes the lead on new project development, transplant business within regional and global level
  • Cross department cooperation with Engineering Plastic (EP) / Polyurethane (PU) or Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) related BD/TD/Sales team to drive business development

[Innovations, Sustainability, Embrace Digitalization]

  • Accelerates Innovation to achieve innovation sales target
  • Live Sustainability: supports the Implementation of department Sustainability Roadmap in Greater China with projects acquired which includes Chemcycling, Mechanical Recycling, BMB solutions, Bio based Materials
  • Embrace Digitalization: Enhances aligned use of salesforce Implement and enhances the use of Performance Material (PM) Wechat China platform for promoting more new applications, technical webinar, and customer interaction

[Others]

  • Contributes to establishment of OEM positioning in support of PM growth with global business team.
  • Supports resource alignment to secure new growth projects at tiers and identifies & develops new growth opportunities/targets with sales
  • Supports phase gate project for approval (global, regional) with PM, and contributes to align/prioritize product & application development
  • Develops OEM-relevant communication strategy, and supports key "shows" and "technology days"

=Main Requirements=

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymers or related fields
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Account Manager, Technical sales, Application development position in Automotive Market
  • Experience of leadership position and strategic business role in the organization
  • Strong technical background in Engineering or Scientific discipline.
  • Effective Business Reporting / Communication in English
  • Handling and customer management (claims, issues, specific requests, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Engineering Plastic, PU, TPU. Specific expertise for automotive industry or auto OEM is a plus.
