- Analyze the cost components of machine and parts, provide reasonable suggestions for cost optimization.
- Obtain and evaluate quotation from suppliers for components.
- Join the development of project with headquarter R&D team.
- Control cost through local design and type selection etc.
- Responsible for the development of a system independently. (Consisting of several units, including preliminary market research, conception design, prototype and spare parts manufacture etc.)
- Responsible for technology transfer projects from HQ, localized drawings and prototype manufacture tracking etc.
- Improve and update the existing machines according to customer's need.
- Review the standards that apply to the processes and systems, including safety standards, and ensure they are respected.
- Support the project fulfillment team in the execution of the projects under way.
- Collaborate in the preparation of technical documents.
- Lead or support to solve the technical problem on the customer's site.
- Analyze customer needs in order to offer appropriate cost solution.
- Evaluate the cost and timeline related to the design and manufacturing of the options requested by the customers. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years working experience in mechanical field.
- Familiar with Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic components and Electrical components.
- Good Knowledge in data handing and cost analysis in mechanical related work.
- Good English oral communication, reading and writing skills.
- Efficient handing of MS Office, SAP and 3D-CAD(Solidworks, Pro/E, UG, Inventor etc.)
- Strong learning ability and communication skills.
- Willing to travel approx. 10%.
