- Ensure to match the right required design quality profiles to each related projects.
- Manage the quality and performance metrics for Design Quality Engineering (KPI's) and ensure their adherence to the product design management from the concept phase to the production phase.
- Ensure the fulfilment of the design quality requirements agreed with customers at each development stage, according to the Development System and SPICE** methodologies.
- Monitor and give support to the execution of the design and products validation and the products homologation.
- Ensure the quality and robustness of the developed project, reinforcing the figure of the design quality engineers and auditing the projects in the critical phases.
- Deploy and look after the execution of the company quality policies and strategies for product design and the different product design management procedures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, exceed customer expectations and company profitability by making sure the international norms and standards, as well as company systems, procedures and improvement methodologies are applied.
- Create, maintain and deploy the internal audit plan (e.g. 3Q3), support quality system or customer audits.
- Manage the design quality team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mainly in mechanical, electronic, material, etc
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar management position.
- Management skills would be of additional value
