A key contact person to represent the company before the in-charge tax authorities

  • Tax authorities Key Responsibilities Business Management Activities:
  • Tax filings, deferred tax and group tax reporting
  • Half-year compliance status review (identify the risks or uncertain issues, suggest on the possible resolutions and timely communications with the local Finance teams)
  • Assistance in coordination with the Group team on execution of various global and local tax initiatives
  • Tax policies (study and research on the national and local tax policy developments and trends, sustain a good working relationship, and proactively participate to the state and local tax legislations from a business perspective) and assistance in sharing the knowledge with the local finance teams
  • Tax planning (assistance in conducting the tax planning based on the whole picture of Reckitt in China and provide timely training and support to the local Finance team at large
  • Tax audit defense (to support the local Finance team on tax audit cases conducted by the local tax collection authorities, e.g., VAT, CIT, IIT and CD) executions
  • Build up and maintain a good relationship with the commercial function departments internally as business partner.

  • Technical know-how:
  • Information gathering and data interpretation skills
  • In-depth knowledge in the accounting, taxation and regulations of China and the ability to share such knowledge with others with vivid speeches and case studies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good command in English and Chinese
  • Managerial skills:
  • Business Acumen
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Capable to work in Matrix reporting
  • Good Presentation skills

  • Logical thinking skills Education and Experience Education and qualification:
  • University Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting
  • A member of CICPA or CTA would be a plus Experience:
  • 3 year or above tax experiences in MNCs (the firm experience would be mostly preferred)
