The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and finding innovative solutions for our small household appliances. The role requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a holistic understanding of projects and systems to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and validation of components and systems for small household appliances.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in the design and performance of mechanical, system, and process aspects of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electronic and software engineers, to develop and refine product designs. Take a holistic approach to samples, considering all aspects of the system.
- Develop and implement test procedures and protocols to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Setup automatic testing procedures.
- Document test results, analyze data, and present findings to the Design and Development Group.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in engineering and incorporate new technologies into product development.
- Assist in the creation of prototypes and oversee the transition from prototype to production-ready designs. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field years of experience in design and testing, preferably in the household appliances sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, system design, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in using testing equipment related to mechanical and process engineering.
- Proficiency in laboratory software and evaluation software like LabView, Origin, or MATLAB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly. Preferred Skills
