We are looking for an experienced and proactive IP Lawyer to join our global legal team and lead enforcement efforts in Mainland China (Beijing).
This role is remote-first, with a potential transition to a physical office in Beijing within 4–6 months.
You will work closely with our global legal and business teams, directly protecting the rights of some of the world's most recognized brands. The focus of this position is hands-on IP enforcement in China - drafting and sending claims, managing pre-litigation negotiations, coordinating administrative actions, supporting civil litigation, liaising with local authorities, and recovering compensation from infringers.

What you will do
- Identify and monitor IP infringements across Mainland China (online & offline).
- Draft and send cease-and-desist letters, legal claims, and negotiate settlements.
- File and manage administrative enforcement with AMR/MSA (Market Supervision) and other regulators.
- Coordinate criminal referrals with the Public Security Bureau (PSB) when thresholds are met.
- Manage Customs (GACC) recordations and follow up on seizures.
- Handle platform takedowns on Taobao/Tmall, , Pinduoduo, Douyin, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, etc.
- Arrange notarized test purchases / evidence preservation and prepare litigation materials.
- Support civil litigation with outside counsel (e.g., Beijing IP Court / IP tribunals) as needed.
- Assist company operations in China (basic contracts, compliance, vendor onboarding, office setup).
What we expect from you
- LL.B or above in Law; PRC legal professional qualification (bar) strongly preferred.
- 2–5+ years of experience in IP enforcement/brand protection/trademark or anti-counterfeiting in China.
- Proven track record with administrative enforcement, civil litigation support, and criminal referrals.
- Familiarity with AMR/MSA, PSB, GACC, CNIPA procedures and e-commerce IP portals.
- Full professional proficiency in Mandarin (written & spoken, incl. legal drafting) and professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong legal drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, comfortable working independently and in a global, cross-functional team.
- Based in Beijing or willing to relocate within 4–6 months.
