What Success Will Look Like
- Designed, developed, and maintained high-performance backend data query services, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Leveraged multithreading, asynchronous processing, and efficient caching strategies to optimize concurrency and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Rapidly adapted to new service frameworks and technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
- Monitored and maintained production systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Conducted root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implemented preventive measures to enhance system stability.
- Partnered with frontend engineers, QA teams, and product managers in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and technical design reviews.
- Ensured seamless project execution by aligning technical solutions with business goals, delivering high-quality features on schedule.
Who You Are & What You've Done
- Recent graduates or developers with 1–3 years of backend development experience, holding a bachelor's degree or higher. Strong foundation in computer science, with solid understanding of core algorithms and data structures.
- Good spoken English, sufficient for basic daily work communication.
- Proficient in at least one mainstream backend development language such as Python, Java, Go, Rust, or
- Strong programming fundamentals with a solid understanding of code design, modularization, and a focus on code quality and maintainability.
- Extensive experience in query optimization, with proficiency in databases such as MySQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and MongoDB. Skilled in writing efficient SQL, index optimization, and query analysis.
- In-depth understanding of concurrent programming principles, with strong command of multithreading, coroutines, concurrency control, and asynchronous processing. Experience with high-concurrency systems is a plus.
- Rich experience in service performance optimization, capable of tuning across system architecture, code implementation, and server configuration. Familiar with common backend service frameworks and able to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.
- Ability to understand the product's business context and needs, with a strong awareness of the business value of your work.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
What Would Make You Stand Out (Bonus Points)
- Award recipient in provincial or higher-level competitions in mathematics, physics, or computer science.
- Familiar with or have studied the source code of open-source frameworks or libraries.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance development efficiency.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or a strong track record of internship project work.
