Role Overview
This role focuses on developing a deep understanding of users — particularly casual game players — to inform product decisions and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Research:
Lead the end-to-end user research process, including needs analysis, research design (qualitative/quantitative), execution (interviews, usability testing, surveys), data analysis, and report writing. - Insight Translation:
Explore behavioral patterns and evolving needs across different user segments (e.g., emerging markets), delivering actionable insights to guide product design, market positioning, and operational strategy for casual games. - Strategic Support:
Conduct competitive user experience evaluations and genre trend research to support strategic decisions for the company's casual game portfolio. - Team Enablement:
Promote user research best practices across product, design, and operations teams, fostering a user-centric culture within the organization.
Requirements
- Experience & Skills:
5+ years of user research experience; proven success in cross-national and cross-cultural research projects preferred. Strong command of research methods and tools, with solid analytical and reporting skills. - Industry Knowledge:
Mature product thinking and deep understanding of the casual game market, with the ability to grasp industry trends and user preferences quickly. - Personal Qualities:
Highly curious, with excellent communication, logical thinking, and empathy toward users. Proactive in identifying and leading research initiatives, not limited to assigned tasks. - Language & Location:
Proficiency in English as a working language preferred. Must be based in Shenzhen with occasional business travel.

- 经验与技能:5年及以上用户研究经验,有跨国跨文化研究项目成功案例者优先。熟练掌握各种用户研究方法与工具,具备强大的数据分析和报告撰写能力。
- 行业认知:具备成熟的产品思维,对休闲游戏市场有深刻理解,能快速把握行业动态和用户偏好。
- 个人特质:好奇心强,具备出色的沟通协调能力、逻辑思维和用户同理心。能主动发现并引领研究课题,而非被动执行。
- 语言与地点:英语可作为工作语言者优先。能常驻深圳并适应 occasional 出差。
