 Create and maintain 3 years' product roadmap for local market to improve and secure product competitiveness, product profitability, product positioning, value proposition, pricing strategies and unnecessary product phase out.

 Product life-cycle management  Conceptionalize cost reduction approaches covering products and process optimization)  Responsible for implementation the product information management to be in line with SOPREMA group strategy.  Provide value selling tools, product literatures, price lists and presentations.

 (2) Competitive intelligence and market requirement

 Meet customer to understand customer needs and market requirements.

 Gather information and analyse on competitor's products and activities and consolidate in impactful business reports / market intelligence system.  Liaise with sales team to conduct market research, sizing the opportunity and translating findings into product requirements.

 Stay abreast of new technology developments and industry trends in the market to identify opportunities for innovation.

 (3) New business development  Ensure commercial feasibility and business casing before any R&D investments  Identify existing distribution models and propose price and distribution strategy for Soprema in Apac

 Develop some potential partner for the distribution in China, set up performance and packaging requirement  Develop list of influencers and convert them into ambassadors for SOPREMA brand and system solutions  (4) New product launch and commercial activities

 Propose, plan, implement and manage the stage-gate process of launching new product for China market and becomes successful product.  Creation, development and management of new product launch activities and work closely with key stakeholders: R&D, sales, technical, supply chain, QA and Marketing Communication.  Present at customer and technical events and perform demonstration test as required.

 Provide support to sales team by contributing selling arguments based on solid product positioning and in identification and pursuit of key project opportunities.  (5) Specification and technical marketing

 Ensure that product specification consistently meet market requirements.  Work with technical team, monitoring national regulations, update and provide product related information to sales team and market.

 Actively participate in technical committees and report to sales team on possible developments. Establish the tolerance and need of products based on the local requirements.  (6) Management reporting

 Create impactful decision papers for all relevant trends and market changes  Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual product performance reports to be shared with the management team.
