Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute RFP/RFI with divisions. Collaborate with related UBR Business Units to optimize strategic sourcing efforts, TCO analysis and develop host-country-specific negotiation and pricing strategies for new China based projects to achieve optimal value.
  • Create, execute, and manage the holistic plan to engage suppliers associated with the launch of attractions, shows, and other multi-faceted projects from initial concept to its turnover.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing sourcing plan to achieve annual savings targets in specified category groups as well as administering and managing the procure to pay processes for UBR.
  • Establishes overall governing process for procedures, systems, quality standards, and best practices to optimize the management of vendor spend and vendor relationships.
  • Implements and directs overall sourcing vision, strategies, expected outcomes and objectives for the long-term sourcing plan.
  • Oversees the development and tracking of key sourcing projects to ensure sourcing team delivers exceptional value and support to key business stakeholders.
    • Manage, train and develop the sourcing, procurement and logistics staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing of complex projects.
  • Experience in leading/managing project teams in a strategic sourcing environment, experience in sourcing for various business types: Entertainment, Operations, Technical Services, IT, Food, Marketing, etc.
  • Direct negotiations with supplier services in a professional capacity and/or Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed and structured quantitative analysis, including financial analysis of bid packages, development of total cost of ownership models, savings calculation, and similar.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and ability to build and lead effective cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests and expectations.
  • Strong project management experience. Ability to assess market trends.
  • Knowledge of best practices in theme park industry and sourcing in China market.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Experience working for and negotiating with Fortune 100 companies within a JV operating environment.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with external market analysis.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
