Our hardware reliability engineering team is seeking a Reliability Engineer (Contractor) to provide on-site support CM reliability labs in Suzhou, China. This role requires strong program management and technical skills to ensure seamless reliability test execution, accurate data reporting, and proactive communication with global cross-functional teams in China and US. Responsibilities include managing test schedules, tracking samples, preparing reports, troubleshooting equipment, supporting failure analysis, overseeing lab logistics, and working closely with CM to resolve testing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Execute reliability tests, manage test schedules, and track sample status.
- Collect and analyze test data, prepare reports, and flag potential reliability risks.
- Maintain lab equipment, coordinate calibration, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational readiness.
- Manage CM interactions, ensuring smooth test execution and resolving testing challenges.
- Proactively communicate with global cross-functional teams, in cross LOBs. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or experimental setting.
- Familiar with typical reliability test procedures, e.g., environmental, mechanical testing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with and manage relationships with external vendors.
- Experience with lab management is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Understanding of failure analysis techniques (X-Ray, CT, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS, C-SAM) is a plus.
- Proactive and results-driven, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering,
Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
