China Growth Lead
to drive regional engagement across community members, builders, institutions, and partners.
Role Overview
As a member of the APAC business development team, you will be responsible for
growing the project's presence in the Chinese crypto market
. Your focus will be on cultivating and activating retail users, trading communities, and developer ecosystems.
This is a
highly cross-functional
role that spans ecosystem partnerships, community engagement, developer relations, and market localization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Growth:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive adoption among Hong Kong and mainland Chinese users and developers. - Community Engagement:
Build relationships with key influencers, trading communities, and local media to increase awareness and organic interest. - Developer Relations:
Collaborate with Chinese developer communities to onboard new builders, support dApp development, and organize hackathons, meetups, and educational events. - Localization:
Adapt messaging, documentation, and marketing content to resonate with Chinese audiences with cultural and linguistic nuance. - Partnerships:
Identify and manage strategic collaborations with exchanges, wallets, media outlets, dApps, and enterprises to expand reach and user engagement. - Advocacy:
Represent the project at conferences, community events, and in public forums across the Chinese crypto ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in crypto, ideally within a
Layer 1/2, exchange, or top-tier dApp protocol
. - Strong understanding of the
Chinese crypto landscape
, including trading communities, influencers, and developer networks. - Proven ability to grow and manage communities, preferably with hands-on experience in China.
- Excellent communication skills in
Mandarin and English
. - Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching a token or managing ecosystem incentive programs for Chinese users.
- Track record of running successful
growth campaigns, token launches, or influencer partnerships
. - Experience organizing events, hackathons, or marketing campaigns in China.
