They are designed to help students in China gain authentic exposure to U.S education, enrich their academic and personal development, and strengthen their pathways to U.S. universities.

KSE China is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Executive Director of School Relations (Asia) to lead our business development efforts by building and managing strong partnerships with high schools in China and Asia Pacific. This individual will serve as the primary liaison with school leadership and faculty, develop long-term relationships, and design recruitment strategies that connect students with KSE's US.-based programs. The ultimate goal of this role is to help Chinese students experience world-class education in the US while supporting their aspirations to gain admission to U.S. universities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with high schools across Shanghai and greater China. Develop strong relationships with principals, faculty, and counselors to position KSE as a valuable partner in international education.

  • Develop partnership and execute recruitment strategy in alignment with KSE's growth goals in China and build a sustainable pipeline of new partner schools and student prospects.

  • Work with International schools to conduct student recruitment into KSE's U.S.-based programs (Connect, MasterScholar, Veriii) by designing and executing recruitment campaigns. Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools and families, ensuring satisfaction and long-term collaboration and retention.

  • Represent KSE at education fairs, conferences, and recruitment events, while organizing and delivering presentations, workshops, and information sessions for schools, students, and parents.

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from lead generation to enrollment to ensure high conversion rates. Coordinate with KSE program teams in the U.S. to ensure smooth student onboarding, program delivery, and support.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required, preferably in Education, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing partnerships and/or student recruitment, business development, or partnership management in higher education or international education.

  • Strong network and familiarity with Chinese international and local high schools.

  • Proven track record in managing partnerships and achieving recruitment targets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills (Native English proficiency required, Mandarin)

  • Deep understanding of US higher education pathways and the needs of Chinese students preparing to study abroad.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.

  • Willingness to travel
