BOA Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd. is a legal branch established by BOA Technology Inc. in China, responsible for the liaison and management of the company's OEM and suppliers, technical support for all cooperative brand factories and solving quality problems, as well as the marketing and sales of the entire Greater China.

Overview Of Role
Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Excellence, you will be instrumental in enhancing our development efficiency in product installation. Your expertise in footwear product line costing and technology investigation will be crucial as you collaborate with our international team and clients to establish strategic partnerships with factories. Additionally, you will oversee the regular auditing of factory partner installation processes to ensure consistent quality performance for BOA products.

Core Responsibilities
Reflect and role model BOA's vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the Factory Education & Technical Support team and rest of the organization.

  • Lead, coach and develop the Factory Education & Technical Support team
  • Work with your direct reports to set and review performance/development goals, discuss feedback regularly throughout the year, and formally summarize during performance reviews
  • Create and manage BP factory portal with comprehensive global factory education and support tools, including standardized installation instructions, instructional videos, and installation tools.
  • Assess the efficacy of ongoing programs by verifying product and part installation efficiency, integrating findings into model and product line costing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factory partners, ensuring the availability of installation support resources. Lead the resolution of BOA product quality issues and promote process improvements and best practices among factories.
  • Collaborate with product teams to conduct gap analysis on new solutions and technology advancements.
  • Conduct regular teamwork planning and resource management activities. Identify collaborative initiatives and actively participate in the creation of team operating plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Footwear Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related fields
  • 8+ years working in the footwear industry with a proven record of team management.
  • Subject matter expertise in footwear development and manufacturing processes, including familiarity with various shoe-making technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience in driving improvements with cross functional teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally, primarily to partner factories and BOA global offices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with US-based Development teams preferred.
