Specialized in Manufacturing/Process Improvements, this role manages various plant processes and systems and technologies. Interfaces with several plant stakeholders. The primary focus of this position is work closely with operations and Technolgy labs to troubleshoot, develop, and implement strategies to continuously improve plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional expert for plant technical issues by providing proactive analytical skills to troubleshoot and problem solve processes within the plant.
- Collaborate with Technical on new product development, leading introduction of new technologies and scale up in all plants in the region.
- Lead all production transfers among the AP region as well as different regions.
- Lead Process Engineering roundtables aligning consistency and prioritizing process improvements initiatives.
- Serve as Regional Continuous Improvement Lead, supporting regional projects as well as managing plant specific projects.
- Network with other Global Process Engineering team, sharing and implementing best practices in the region.
- Capacity Modelling the plants and understanding the constrains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in chemical engineering or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with Powder Coatings
- Working knowledge of process improvements, process design and optimization, quality assurance process and procedures.
- Ability to successfully manage regional teams
- Proven experience with project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration relationships within all levels of the organisation.
- Strength in creative problem solving to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
